Description
In this exhibition Andrew Smith presents new paintings concerned aroud a long standing investigation into the subject of colour. The leading aspect of Smith's pictorial space are the very individual and highly specific structures that represent the driving force of colour as the primary concern of the description of pictorial space. Smith has worked for over twenty years in his studio in Harlech, and all his work has been influenced by the revolving and animated light form Tremadog Bay providing almost laboratory conditions for investigation of colour in painting.
